Transformational Community Ministries
Adopt-A-School. Our church has adopted two elementary schools. We have partnered with them to help meet some of the needs that arise during the year. For the last two years we have helped clothe hundreds of kids and we have provided hundreds of Christmas toys for those who needed help in a rough time of their life. We do this because we believe that God wants us to make a difference in the community.
Salvation Army. During the year we collect money and socks for the homeless.
Driscoll Children's Hospital. At Christmas, stockings are made and delivered to the hospital.
Women's Shelter. Items are collected throughout the year to meet the needs of the shelter.
Ronald McDonald. Programs are supported throughout the year by special offerings.
South Texas Children's Home. Donations and special offerings are given throughout the year to support the ministries of the childrens' home.
Transformational Global Ministries
Mexico. LBC has gone on a mission trip to Mexico and we hope to expand our territory further in the years to come.
Samaritan's Purse. LBC has participated in gathering items and filling shoeboxes to be delivered to the children of the world for the past several years.
India and Africa. Members of our pastoral staff and church body have participated in mission trips to these countries. We continue to support an Indian minister and pay tuition fees for children to attend a Christian school in India.
